This presentation will help researchers navigate the process of contacting districts and getting requests approved. We’ll describe “best practices” regarding partnering with districts and cover the interplay between IRB requirements and district requirements. We’ll also go over some “red flags” that districts look for when reviewing requests.
Kimberly Lightle is the director of the Office of Research in the College of Education and Human Ecology. One of her responsibilities is building relationships with school districts and facilitating research in schools.
